Rosen on the Raps ... last night

Surprise, surprise, Raptors can really shoot

With a thrilling 112-111 victory in Chicago, the Raptors accomplished several milestones:

* They further solidified their hold on first place in the Atlantic Division.
* They extended their mid-season surge to 11 wins in their past 14 games.
* And they secured their status as the league's surprise ballclub.

Even so, with all of their glaring weaknesses, last season's powder-puff Raptors have suddenly developed claws. Kudos to Sam Mitchell and Brian Colangelo for having a game plan and sticking with it.

Toronto's defense will doom them to an early exit come the playoffs, but, man, can they shoot!

Charley Strikes, again ... decisively & with precision.

Ditto.

Experience has taught me to agree with John Wooden, in this regard,

"It's what you learn after you think you know it all that makes all the difference."

Thanks for your comment, nevertheless.
